Mongolia

The National Climate Committee (NCC) serves as Mongolia’s highest cross-ministerial coordination mechanism for climate policy, providing strategic direction and oversight of national climate action. It ensures the integration of climate objectives into national development policies and their alignment with international climate frameworks and commitments. To foster coordination and policy coherence, the NCC comprises ministers, state secretaries, and relevant directors-general from all key ministries and agencies. The Committee is also responsible for approving national climate policies and reports and supporting stakeholder engagement.
